Zhejiang Jiali Wind Power Technology Co., Ltd (former Hangzhou Sound Foundry Co., Ltd.), which locates in Guali 2 industrial zone, Xiaoshan, Hangzhou & covers an area of 50,000 m , was founded in 1993. It’s a professional foundry company of wind power equipment castings & already capable of producing 50,000 tons of wind power equipment castings annually.
It has got the management system certification of ISO9001: 2000, ISO14001: 2004 and GB/T28001: 2001continuously and was denominated as High and New Technology Enterprise by relevant governmental departments in 2008.
The castings of hub, main frame & gear case housing etc of large-scale wind turbine generator are its major products.Present products are focused on 1.5MW and 2MW model, the material type includes EN-GJS-400-18U-LT and EN-GJS-350-22U-LT etc. Here are some of our major customers, Dongfang Steam Turbine Works(DFSTW), Xiangtan ElectricManufacturing Corporation Ltd (XEMC), Indian Suzlon, Spanish Acciona, German Siemens and Bosch Rexroth.
It has a foundry research institute of more than 70 technology research personnel. During the research process, it has applied for several national invention patents & utility model patents. It’s also equipped with foundry numerical simulation software. All types of wind power castings only will be produced after passing computer simulation, so it decreases the defect possibilities & shortens the development cycle drastically.
Its test laboratory is equipped with complete set of wind power casting inspection & experiment equipments and facilities, like spectrograph, metallographic microscope, UT, MT, PT equipments, low temperature impact experiment equipment, tensile test equipment, core sample drill and so on. And it can make all necessary tests & experiments of wind power castings.
Its production process adopts resin sand molding and duplex melting method of cupola furnace & electric induction furnace. The workshop installs several sets of continuous sand mixer & 3 sets of them are imported from Italy, 2 sets of 10 t/h & 2 sets of 5 t/h cupola furnace, 3 sets of 12 t/h & 2 sets of 5 t/h medium-frequency induction furnace and the maximum lifting capacity of bridge crane is 50 tons, thus it can produce the casting of unit weight below 35 tons.
It invested RMB (Chinese Yuan) 80 million to build a large machining plant in 2008, which can process more than 500 sets of wind turbine castings annually. It’ll start the second phase project of wind power equipment castings in 2009 and the expected total investment is RMB 330 million. After its completion, it can form the production capacity of 2500 sets of 1.5MW and above wind power equipment castings (max. unit casting weight 75 tons), i.e. 60,000 tons annually.
